- The WWE Universe have been clamouring for a Daniel Bryan return and taking into consideration WWE’s current woes, it may exactly be what should happen.
But the reality is, sadly, it may never happen. According to reports coming in from Wrestling News, Daniel Bryan has been advised to never step into the ring to wrestle again by WWE’s head of medical Dr.Joseph Maroon.
The reason for the same is due to Bryan’s unfortunate history with concussions. Bryan has been quite vocal about his growing frustrations about not being able to wrestle, in spite of his personal doctor clearing him to do the same.
The problem lies with the boss Vince McMahon. According to veteran wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, Vince is strongly against the idea of letting the leader of the Yes movement getting back to in-ring action, as he thinks it would be a risky affair.
But Vince is also in splits over the fact that, if he doesn't let Bryan wrestle again, he stands the chance of losing the insanely popular superstar to countless indie promotions waiting in line.
From the reports, it seems, if WWE doesn’t let Bryan wrestle again, he would most likely jump ship to Japan’s top promotion New Japan Pro Wrestling – where he is a huge draw and would be welcomed with open arms.
Bryan himself has stated that he would walk out if his demands are not met; that is to let him wrestle again.
He may not renew his contract if WWE doesn’t give in to his demand, which is fair considering that Bryan has been out of action for almost 8 months. Whether or not Vince caves into his demands is to be seen.
