WWE brewing up big plans for Samoa Joe and Finn Balor

WWE has some big things in store for him

NXT star Samoa Joe is set for a bright future ahead, if reports of WWE’s plans to bring the wrestler to the main roster after WrestleMania 32 turn out to be true, and could appear on the post-WrestleMania RAW.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the franchise plans to debut Joe on RAW later this year, but could tweak their plans while still envisioning a future for Joe in the main roster.

Finn Balor could also have an integral role in these plans, with rumours going around of plans for him to suffer a defeat at the hands of Joe for the NXT Title, which would not only extend their feud but also delay the latter’s call-up to the main roster.

Another star in contention for a call-up to the main roster is Sami Zayn, who may be the subject of a feud with Kevin Owens. However, Balor may not be called up to the main stage anytime soon, as WWE officials see him as the face of the NXT brand post-March.

A call-up to the main roster would certainly be huge for Joe, who boasts of an enviable career at TNA, and counts the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, two TNA World Tag Team Championships, and five TNA X Division Championships among his numerous titles.

The 36-year-old extended his commendable performances with NXT, whom he signed for last May, and already boasts of a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic – which he won with Finn Balor.

The other NXT star in contention, Sami Zayn, is also no pushover and boasts of one NXT Championship as well as a Slammy Award nomination for Superstar of the Year since signing for the brand in 2013.
