Chris Jericho to turn heel and feud with top WWE star?

What’s in store for Y2J post-Royal Rumble?

WWE’s need for amping up the star power in the Royal Rumble match lead to Chris Jericho’s addition in the 30-man match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Y2J’s return has raised questions about what the WWE has planned for the ‘ayatollah of rock and rolla’ post the Rumble. In reports coming in from Wrestlezone, a heel turn may soon be on the cards for Jericho.

What gave rise to the speculation, is WWE advertising, through a local mail blast, that Jericho would be teaming up with the Celtic Warrior Sheamus to take on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns this Tuesday at the Smackdown tapings in Dayton, OH

What would most probably be a dark match, points to the build up for Jericho’s heel turn and an eventual WrestleMania 32 feud with Ambrose. The feud has been teased ever since Jericho showed shades of turning on Ambrose and Reigns at Night of Champions.

There were backstage reports supporting the possible matchup over the past few months, and now, it may materialize leading up to WrestleMania 32. A Jericho-Ambrose feud is worthy of a spot on the WrestleMania card, and if booked properly, could be the most engaging and entertaining rivalry the WWE has to offer.
