Charlotte Flair takes on Bayley for the SmackDown Women's title at WWE Clash of Champions. The two former friends have turned into sworn enemies. While there was no major confrontation between the two during this week's episode of SmackDown, it seems like the reign of the current women's champion will come to an end at the show. A lot of this speculation has to do with various other aspects that govern the match.

This is not the outcome most of us would have thought or expect from this match, but I list down some of the major reasons why this will be the result before the show comes to a close.

So without further ado, let's get down to it.

#3 Hometown Advantage

The Show happens in Charlotte, North Carolina
The Show happens in Charlotte, North Carolina

The show takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina, and given that it is the hometown to The Queen, chances are that she would walk out of the show with the win. There are so many options that should be taken into consideration, and the most important one is the fact that the company hardly let's hometown wrestlers lose.

There is another major aspect, and that is the fact that Charlotte goes into this match and this storyline as a face, and she is amongst the best female performers in the company at this moment. A win will only cement her as the perfect performer that will take the championship to new heights.

She is the embodiment of what a performer should be like in the modern times, and with so much at stake for the blue brand, it would only make sense if she holds the gold when the match is over.

There are some other aspects too, and they are listed in the following slide.

#2 SmackDown moving to FOX

FOX'ed
FOX'ed

WWE is doing everything to ensure the impact is the best when it begins broadcasting on FOX. With AEW also commencing its TV programming two days before SmackDown's broadcast, the company needs someone that can command the audience.

Charlotte has this skill, and she knows how to work the audience. Her promo and current babyface character will be a value add to this overall storyline. The 9-time Women's Champion is one of the best talkers and in-ring performers we have on the brand. With her at the top of the women's division, one can expect nothing but great matches, promos as well as great storylines for the upcoming shows. After all, good ratings and better storylines will help make this deal work benefits for both companies.

The last point is of extreme importance, and that is the key in this entire storyline.

#1 Let Bayley develop her character

If this clip is any indication, we know that Bayley has not been able to up her heel persona. She is a heel, and if you would have seen the heels, including Charlotte, you can be sure that they need to be very arrogant. This helps them build the character and also generate more heat as it develops with time. Bayley became a heel on the 2nd September 2019 episode of Raw, and she has a long way to go to make her character relevant.

Bayley was smiling during this confrontation, and that is not how a heel should be on screen. With Charlotte winning the title Bayley can explore her heelish side and generate heat for herself which will be helpful in the long run. If she attacks Charlotte and plays mind games, her character will grow as will her career.

We all know that this is one side of her character that is still unexplored, and with so many aspects that can come into play, one can rest assured that this storyline will entertain the fans in the coming months. The business is focused on the ratings, and it can be achieved with a powerful babyface in Charlotte and a phenomenal heel in Bayley.
