#2 Both Superstars get counted out

For Roman Reigns, this is personal, and Rowan isn't going to back down easily, so this match could possibly spill out of the ring, resulting in both Superstars getting counted out. If this feud is going to continue after Clash of Champions, then this will be the perfect way for the match to end, because there won't be a clear winner if both Superstars are counted out.
None of them will suffer a clean loss and they'll have a rematch at the following PPV, continuing their feud. We're not sure how long this angle is going to last, but it's definitely not going to end at Clash of Champions.

#1 Daniel Bryan costs Erick Rowan the match

After finding that Rowan was behind the attacks, Daniel Bryan was enraged, so he distanced himself from Rowan. On SmackDown Live last week, Rowan didn't spare his former tag team partner. He attacked Bryan and put him through the announce table. Bryan isn't scheduled for a match at Clash of Champions as of this writing, so perhaps he could show up at the PPV and cost Rowan the match.
This way, WWE could further the storyline by potentially having a face Daniel Bryan feuding with a heel Erick Rowan, and Roman could be involved in-between.
