#2 The Miz could equal Chris Jericho's record

Will The Miz equal Chris Jericho's record at Clash of Champions?

The Miz takes on Shinsuke Nakamura this weekend at Clash of Champions with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. The Miz has quite a history with this title since he's already an eight-time Champion so if he's able to defeat The Artist this weekend then he will equal Chris Jericho's long-standing record by becoming a nine-time Champion.

WWE has a history of trying to wipe out records of stars who have walked away from the company much like when Nikki Bella ended AJ Lee's record with the Divas Championship before the title was retired.

Jericho is currently the first AEW World Champion and has become a viral sensation ever since his win back at All Out, so it's likely that The Miz wiping out his record won't actually bother him that much. But it will give The Miz something to do on WWE TV since he's been floating around for weeks waiting for a reason to put on his gear again.

The Miz as a face has been a strange experiment from WWE, but a win this weekend would prove that WWE has seen it as a successful switch.
