The thing about Brock Lesnar is that every time that he's been in peril, he's had a trusty advocate by his side who's helped him retain his coveted title.
Maybe even this time, when Cain Velasquez is on the verge of picking up a big win, Paul Heyman comes to the rescue and helps him retain the Championship with some kind of underhanded move. Maybe Rey Mysterio isn't at ringside this time owing to the brutal attack that he suffered at the hands of The Beast Incarnate. Not only will this allow for Brock Lesnar to remain the WWE Champion, but it will allow for the feud to stretch out for a few months to get the crowd behind Cain Velasquez.
