WWE Elimination Chamber 2019: 5 Biggest Matches That Could Happen

Who is going to WrestleMania?
Who is going to WrestleMania?

Now that the dust has finally settled with Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins rising to the occasion, we can also sit down and enjoy a terrific ride to the Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania 35.

Professional wrestling deserves a lot of adulation for whatever transpired last night at Chase Field. WWE laid significant emphasis on pushing the future with many NXT Superstars enlightening the crowd with their surprise entries in the Royal Rumble.

With Vince McMahon putting his best foot forward with the Royal Rumble, all eyes are now diverted towards what could happen at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas where WWE will be live with the Elimination Chamber.

Being the ninth event to be presented under the popular chronology, the event is rumoured to host two gruelling matches inside the unforgiving chamber, with the inaugural Women's Tag-Team Championships being a confirmed one.

By the looks of it, it's a sure thing to say we could see something special going down in Texas before heading to lock things up in New Jersey for the visual extravaganza, WrestleMania 35.

Here are the 5 biggest matches WWE could be planning for Elimination Chamber 2019.

#1 Seth Rollins Vs. Dean Ambrose

Rollins needs the momentum
Rollins needs the momentum

I'm genuinely happy to see Seth Rollins finally getting the spotlight he deserves. The Man has been absolutely lethal on Monday Night Raw with his fine athleticism being a huge hit among the hardcore as well as the casual audience.

Widely hailed as the most talented in the entire Shield, the creative team has to book the Architect the right way, and the only way to do so is to let him do what he is incredibly good at - professional wrestling.

His incredible chemistry with Dean Ambrose could coerce the management to tell another riveting story between the two before the former Intercontinental Champion settles the dust with the Beast Incarnate in New Jersey.

While Ambrose's heel turn hasn't really panned out the way we had imagined, he could still act his part to the perfection of being a solid roadblock in Rollins' dream to be the main event.

I'm expecting these two to tear the house down at Toyota Center and while Bobby Lashley could also be a contender to lock horns with Seth Rollins, Dean would fit the bill perfectly.

#2 Shinsuke Nakamura (C) Vs. Mustafa Ali for the United States Championship

Did you notice this?
Did you notice this?

In what was possibly the most surprising decision of the night, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Rusev and grabbed the United States Championship again.

Since the King of Strong Style is now the favourite to walk into MetLife Stadium with the gold, he could see a credible contender giving him a tough fight en route to WrestleMania 35.

The above space fits perfectly for someone like Mustafa Ali. The former 205 Live sensation has earned his reputation of being a terrific competitor between the ropes and is continuing to rise to the top on the blue brand.

While Ali is still suffering the wrath of Samoa Joe, he could very well lock horns with the United States Champion and give us something to remember at Toyota Center.

I'm genuinely expecting these two to bring the fight to Texas and with Ali already eliminating Nakamura out of the Royal Rumble picture last night, he could go on to challenge the U.S. Champion at Elimination Chamber.

#3 Ronda Rousey (C) Vs. Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women's Championship

Will Charlotte finally snap?
Will Charlotte finally snap?

One way or the other, we are going to see Ronda Rousey defend the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 35 against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

While Becky Lynch has sealed her spot in the main event at the Show of Shows, this leaves the Queen out of the title picture and seeing her former best friend achieve so much in such short amount of time, something villainous could come out of Charlotte very soon.

Considering that she has always been WWE's top priority as far as the women's division is concerned, Vince McMahon could give us a very different side of Charlotte in the build-up to WrestleMania.

Moreover, Ronda Rousey's clinical victory over Sasha Banks last night will only fuel the fire as far as the Four Horsewomen angle is concerned and no better competitor than Charlotte to mix it up with the Rowdy One for a place at WrestleMania.

These two can really tell a beautiful story and while many fans would disregard this claim as something silly, Charlotte's jealousy could coerce her to do things she has never done before.

#4 Sasha Banks and Bayley Vs. Nia Jax and Tamina Vs. The IIconics Vs. The Riott Squad Vs. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville Vs. Naomi and Carmella for the Women's Tag-Team Championships

You will have to applaud this
You will have to applaud this

There's no denying that the WWE are finally giving Women's wrestling the spotlight it deserves, and while the quality might still come into question, the intentions are nonetheless, commendable.

Vince McMahon's idea of introducing the Women's Tag-Team Championships is a clever move to let the world know that the company are genuinely serious about pushing their female competitors to the top.

With this match confirmed to happen inside the barbaric Elimination Chamber, six teams, three from Raw and three from SmackDown Live would fight to get their hands on the inaugural tag-team gold.

Since Sasha Banks and Bayley are the favorites to get their hands on the gold, we could certainly WWE giving us a solid storyline heading into WrestleMania with someone like Nia Jax acting as a solid roadblock in the way.

Nonetheless, these are the six teams which I feel would be heading in to the Toyota Center to grab their hands at the coveted prize.

#5 The 'New' Daniel Bryan Vs. A.J. Styles Vs. Randy Orton Vs. Samoa Joe Vs. Rey Mysterio Vs. Andrade 'Cien' Almas for the WWE Championship

Who will be the WWE Champion?
Who will be the WWE Champion?

In what certainly could be a match of the year candidate, Daniel Bryan could be the one defending the most coveted prize in sports entertainment inside the Elimination Chamber.

There's no denying that the 'New' Daniel Bryan has been pretty clinical in his villainous role, and with Erick Rowan making a shocking entry in this story, he could very well be the first in line who joins Bryan in his quest to change the world.

The other competitors joining the barbaric cage alongside Bryan could be A.J. Styles, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, and Andrade 'Cien' Almas.

If advancing the narrative is anything to take into consideration, then this could be the place where we see the Viper finally meeting his prey in the Phenomenal One, A.J. Styles.

The WWE Championship certainly deserves a platform of this stature and with so many incredible competitors participating in the bout, this could very well close the show at the Toyota Center.
