#2 Asuka needs a worthy opponent following Elimination Chamber

In the build-up to Elimination Chamber, Asuka was set to face Lacey Evans after the star earned a spot as the number one contender to the RAW Women's Championship. However, the plans changed after Evans, accompanied by Ric Flair, announced that she could no longer compete as she was pregnant.

Speculation over what was set to go down in regards to the RAW Women's Championship was rife through the week, as in spite of Lacey Evans' big announcement on the go-home show, the title match was still on the card and being advertised by WWE until the day of Elimination Chamber.

Even though the situation was raised on the kick-off show, the RAW Women's Championship match didn't go ahead with a replacement challenger, as a lot of fans suspected.

It would have been great for Asuka to have a challenger at Elimination Chamber, or even a number one contendership match for the title. Asuka hasn't been involved in a title feud for quite some time, and it appears as if Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair is gearing towards a match against SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37.
