WWE Extreme Rules 2016- Date, Place, Tickets and Where to watch

Extreme Rules 2016 is less than a week away folks

We are less than a week away from this year’s edition of the Extreme Rules Pay-per-view. This was the second WWE PPV this year after WrestleMania 32 following WWE Payback and the eighth event under the Extreme Rules banner. The match card looks very promising and a couple of matches on the card have the potential to be show stealers.

A lot has happened on RAW since Payback as Vince McMahon has directed his son, Shane McMahon and daughter Stephanie to run RAW together. These two even had difficulties to see each other's faces but now it appears as if they have learned to co-exist. Whatever may be the case, the WWE universe is happy to witness some top quality matches on the show.

Many debuts have taken place since Mania and the match card was good enough to contain matches featuring the debutantes. With all these said, there are some things that the WWE fans should know about the event- Date, Place, Tickets and What to Watch!

Date and Place

The Prudential Centre in New Jersey

The event is scheduled to take place on May 22, 2016 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The action will begin at 8E/5P (8 PM in New York (Eastern Time Zone) and 5 PM in Los Angeles (Pacific Time Zone)). With the Payback PPV receiving a very positive response from the WWE circles, it is important for the creative team to continue the success saga a while longer.

There are a couple of repeat matches from the last PPV- Roman vs. AJ Styles and Natalya vs. Charlotte but they have come with added beauty in the form on stipulations. The main event at Payback received great appreciation and there is no doubt that the match between the duo at Extreme Rules will be any different. They might steal the show with an epic match at the upcoming PPV. The Club vs. Family factor is something that has to be considered heading into this match.

Tickets

Seating Chart

The sale of tickets for Extreme Rules is open. This arena has a capacity of 18700 and the WWE team would love to have a 100% attendance.

Tickets are available in the range $30-$505 (excluding fee at checkout). A maximum of 10 tickets were given for one booking and the tickets are available in four different categories. In the official WWE website, it was mentioned that tickets will be available at ‘Ticketmaster.com’ and the Prudential Centre box office.

Where to Watch?

Yet another ultimate face-off

The show will be broadcast on several online platforms. Officially, the WWE network and Pay-per view are listed by the company. Several other platforms also broadcast the show. If you do not have an online facility, don’t worry folks! You can watch it on Ten Sports.

This year’s event has got a lot of interesting matches and don’t miss the action. Some of the big matches in this year’s event are- Roman Reigns vs. AJ Styles for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in an Extreme Rules Match, Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. The Miz vs. Cesaro- A Fatal 4-way match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and a rematch between Natalya and Charlotte for the Women's title.

Extreme Rules will be a perfect platform for Sami Zayn to seek redemption on his arch-rival, Kevin Owens and it was also an opportunity for Owens to overcome the odds and take back his IC title. AJ Styles has shown a lot of character in the past few months and so has Reigns. This will be the second time these two men will compete for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and expect some extreme action in this blockbuster title match.
