There’s nothing to dislike about Heavy Machinery. They’re athletic, funny and quite entertaining on a weekly basis. However, for the second straight PPV, Heavy Machinery failed to seize the opportunity at hand. They stood in a ring with four of the very best and instead of shining, they acted as extras to the New Day and the Planet’s Champions.

It’s not as if the duo didn’t have their moments in the match. They were booked to have several spots, however, none materialised into points worth noting. If the NXT graduates are to make headway on the main roster, they must learn how to make their wrestling ability more the focus instead of comedic value. With two tag team title opportunities under their belt, it’s hard to see where they could get their next shot. SummerSlam is make or break for the duo and critical to understanding how the WWE values them.
