#2 Exploring the horror show theme at WWE Extreme Rules 2020 in a non-cinematic environment

It is very weird that Extreme Rules with a 'horror show' theme is happening in the middle of Summer, at least in the Northern Hemisphere. And this means that WWE had to create a whole horror show theme across the length and breadth of Extreme Rules, even though it was only Bray Wyatt vs. Braun Strowman that had a real horror show theme running through it. They wanted the same with Seth Rollins' grudge match with Mysterio as well.

A lot of people expected Rey Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins at WWE Extreme Rules to be a cinematic match as well. Considering that it would be very difficult for an eye to be extracted without the help of CGI, but WWE showed that they could be creative even in the ringside area during this match between Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio.

If this was a test run for WWE to be creative without an audience in attendance, Extreme Rules proved that WWE has the ability to book interesting and unconventional matches. While the numbers may not necessarily reflect it, Bruce Prichard has been extremely creative since he assumed the reins of RAW.
