Shinsuke Nakamura looked to keep his momentum alive heading into WrestleMania

The crowd was split down the middle, chanting both "Nakamura" and "Rusev Day". Nakamura started with the mind games, taunting Rusev, who instantly rolled out of the ring. Just when Rusev looked like he was ready to go again, he rolled out once more.

This led Nakamura to take the fight to The Bulgarian Brute, but Rusev would fight back and gain momentum for a good period of time. Even when Nakamura had answers for Rusev, the former United States Champion seemingly had an answer to everything.

A missed Kinshasa almost saw Nakamura caught in an accolade, but the Royal Rumble winner powered out enough to attempt another Kinshasa, which was met by a thunderously loud superkick to the face.

Rusev showed his first signs of frustration when Nakamura kicked out. Nakamura slid under Rusev when he went for the accolade, and he hit a Kinshasa to the back of Rusev's neck before sealing the deal with another Kinshasa to the face.

The Queen was taken to the limit by the upstart Ruby Riott

Charlotte Flair started off strong. Ruby Riott didn't come out with the Riott Squad, but it was clear why when they appeared out of nowhere and distracted Charlotte for Riot to kick her from behind.

Even a Riott kick wasn't enough to put away the champion. The playing field was soon even when Naomi and Becky Lynch came out. Despite this, Ruby Riott inflicted a lot of punishment on the champion, even pushing her from the top turnbuckles when The Queen attempted a moonsault.
