While Kofi Kingston should have gotten his one-on-one championship match a long time ago, it still hasn’t happened yet and fans have been growing desperate to watch Kofi as champion especially since Elimination Chamber last month.

With that in mind, WWE at first teased that Kofi might get included in the match between Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship. However, it was Mustafa Ali who took the spot he’d missed at Elimination Chamber and made it a Triple Threat Match.

Kofi, on the other hand, suffered at the hands of The Bar without Xavier Woods and Big E by his side.

Kofi will surely get his title shot now that the WWE Universe is behind him, but it will have to be a one-on-one match so that we can watch the man shine and prove himself.

Therefore, it was right for WWE not to give Kofi a title shot at Fastlane in a triple threat or fatal four-way match.
