Fastlane prediction: WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match: Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax (C) Vs Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair

Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax (C) Vs. Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair and SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks will once again team up to challenge the destructive tandem of Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at Fastlane.

The pair came up short in their maiden shot at Elimination Chamber when sommelier Reginald botched his attempt to interfere and aid Banks. Amid lacking credible challengers, Baszler and Jax have shined as two-time tag titleholders. Whereas their challengers, Banks and Belair, are two Superstars who are currently at the top of their game. Reginald will have a major say on the result after he switched sides and aligned with Jax and Baszler.

The build-up to this Fastlane bout has been better compared to last time around and this is going to be an engaging in-ring contest. Despite fans being genuinely excited for the stellar Mania showdown between Royal Rumble winner Belair and The Boss, WWE have struggled to really get the program going.

The treatment of the tag titles has been rather unfortunate, as they are yet again being used as a prop to advance the push for a singles title match at Fastlane. Vince and Co. have time and again gone back to the wacky, mismatched partner storyline and with Banks and Belair, this seems to be the case. Either Banks or Belair is going to turn on the other. And even if the faces manage to stay on the same page and triumph at Fastlane, logically it would be a waste of time, as they likely won't be holding on to the straps until Mania.

As for the result, this could still go either way, but we strongly sense a Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax retention.
