It genuinely was a very difficult task to pick the top female performer in WWE this year, considering that Sasha Banks very narrowly missed out on the Number 1 spot. Sasha Banks went from a heel and a sidekick of Bayley, to the WWE SmackDown Women's Champion and arguably the most 'over' female performer in the whole company. She looks like a star, carries herself like a top-tier WWE performer, and even if she tries, cannot have a bad match.
WWE fired her, but she started earning more than ever - Check out!
Let it also be known that in addition to being the current WWE SmackDown Women's Champion, Sasha Banks also captured the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Bayley earlier in the very same year.
Many believe that the contest that Bayley and Sasha Banks put on at Hell in a Cell was arguably the best WWE match this year. In the eyes of some members of the WWE Universe, it was even greater than the 'Greatest Wrestling Match Ever', an honor bestowed upon Edge and Randy Orton ahead of their epic contest.
