Remember how the consensus used to be that when John Cena calls it quits, there would be a female version of Cena named Bayley, who would take WWE and the sports entertainment fraternity by storm with almost the same gimmick?
WWE fired her, but she started earning more than ever - Check out!
That never came to pass because the babyface version of Bayley, as good as it was, pales in comparison to her current WWE persona, that of a vicious heel.
Not only has she carried the WWE SmackDown Women's Division on her back, but Bayley also became the longest-reigning SmackDown Women's Champion in 2020, setting a 380-day record. Plus, Bayley also became 'Bayley Dos Straps' this year, with Sasha Banks, and the two of them were engaged in arguably the hottest feud in WWE, this year.
Even though it does seem that she's climbed down a rung or two at the tail end of the year, it's impossible to dispute that no female Superstar has had the kind of year that Bayley has had, in WWE. And she has two words for you - "Ding Dong"!
