– Former WWE Superstar and manager Bobby Heenan was a man who fans used to love to hate all around. Heenan is most known for his time with American Wrestling Association and the World Wrestling Federation, now known as the WWE.

He had an amazing talent to draw a lot of heat from the crowd and was engaged in some memorable moments throughout his career with superstars such as Brian Pillman and others.

Heenan managed a lot of wrestlers including like the Brooklyn Brawler, Mr. Perfect and also worked closely with the likes of Andre the Giant, the Four Horsemen and others. Heenan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004. He was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2002 and had to go a reconstructive surgery of the  jaw. There was a rumour recently started by some deranged fan that Heenan had passed away.

The rumours were soon shot down by Gene Okerlund after he released a statement saying that Heenan was alive and well. He said the following. “Bobby Heenan is very much alive. I’ll be seeing him and his loving wife in a couple of weeks. Heenan is one man that fans loved to hate. And that’s a good thing.”
