We didn't really see a cash-in from Asuka this year if you consider the fact that Becky Lynch was going away and she became the RAW Women's Champion by default. Vince McMahon should not choose to have either Otis or The Miz, whoever becomes Mr. Money in the Bank following their match, 'cash in' his contract during the course of the show and become the new Champion. Roman Reigns has far too much momentum right now, and so does Drew McIntyre. Randy Orton shouldn't lose his WWE Championship soon after Vince McMahon books him to win it if such is indeed the plan.
Because both men have been booked in comedy roles leading up to WWE Hell in a Cell this weekend, it would make all the sense in the world to rehabilitate them for a bit of time before Vince McMahon chooses to insert either man into the title picture. But a failed cash-in attempt would just be a very poor booking choice, truth be told.
