Ever since Bayley became the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, she had an extended run as a single most-dominant Superstar in the women’s division of the Blue brand. She was involved in a title defences against the likes of Naomi, Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, among many others.

Considering the fact that Cross and Bayley were engaged in title matches countless times, it was pretty evident that no more interesting feuds were left for Bayley.

This had a huge rusk of making the SmackDown Women’s Championship mundane and WWE had to take a quick action. Now that the Blue brand has a new champion, we are bound to get a lot of fresh title feuds. In the end, it will give more opportunities to other Superstars backstage as the creative will wait for their next breakthrough talent.

Sasha Banks is a talented Superstar who can be trusted with a credible title run. In the meantime, she can take up on new challenges and hopefully, the likes of Bianca Belair and more will get an opportunity to compete for the gold. This will essentially elevate the entire SmackDown women’s division – something that the show desperately needs at the moment.
