As mentioned earlier, the Cruiserweight division of WWE has been failing. But the feud between TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick has been a bright spot. Kendrick, in particular has managed to be one of the best characters on the WWE roster with his pursuit of the Cruiserweight championship.

Perkins, meanwhile, has been a good champion so far but with the backstage heat on him, he is only likely to remain champion until WWE finds a fitting replacement for him.

WWE might let Perkins keep the title, but Kendrick pulling off an upset would be a big moment in his career. But then again, such a booking decision is a long shot.
