WWE: Is Kane's career on a downfall?

Mohit
Kane

Glenn Thomas Jacobs, better known as Kane was one of the most destructive, deadliest and powerful superstars of all time in WWE. But all of a sudden, Kane’s career looks like it is nearing to an end. Back then, when Kane’s music was played, it used to create a sensation of fear among the superstars but now he is no longer a threat to any WWE superstar and is like any other normal superstar.

Kane, who made an astounding debut in 1997, has been nicknamed as “The Big Red Monster”, but now there seems to be no monstrous ability in Kane, and as a result, now loses very easily and to not-so-tough opponents. Lets take a look at the records accomplished by Kane in his WWE career till date.

- He has accumulated 18 championship accolades during his WWE career.

- First masked wrestler to win WWE Championship.

- First of the only three men to hold WWE, World Heavyweight and ECW Championships.

- A 12 time Tag Team Champion.

- The third Grand Slam winner in WWE history.

- A Money in the Bank winner and holds the record for cashing in the briefcase in shortest amount of time.

- Most eliminations in a Royal Rumble match with 112.

- Most appearances in Royal Rumble match with 16.

Achieving so much is not at all an easy task, but Kane who was like a dominant force earlier is now instead dominated by others. Kane has not won a singles championship since 2011, proving his weakened status. If we take a look at Kane’s old and new pics, his physique has also weakened and his body is becoming weighty compared to his old muscular and behemoth one.

Kane who teamed up with Daniel Bryan to form Team Hell No may had received some success (not so long-lasting) but his old threatening image to other superstars has completely vanished. Kane has beaten so many great superstars in his career but these days he loses quite easily in the singles competition and his Chokeslam, which is one of the most dangerous and match winning move, has also lost the power it used to have some years back. It may be hard luck for Kane, but a lot has changed in him like his attitude, his strength, his abilities, his physique, his grueling nature etc., which can be termed as a reason for his downfall.

Kane, who still has a lot of potential, is not seen in any big matches these days and is not involved in any major feuds as well. Its time for Kane to take a break, hit the gym, switch to his old masked attire and return back as “The Big Red Monster” along with his brother and take off The Shield. Kane should start getting the better of himself or else his illustrious career may get over on a “not so good” note. Everyone wants to see the actual Big Red Monster or The Big Red Machine to be back.
