John Cena teases controversial star's WWE return?
The WWE Universe would go absolutely insane if Cena's teaser turns out to be legit.
In spite of cooling his heels on the sidelines due to an injury, WWE’s franchise player knows just how to stir the speculation pot and stay in the spotlight. While John Cena is known to post cryptic tweets and posts on his social media handles, his latest Instagram post has sent the wrestling community in a complete tizzy.
Cena posted the Twitter profile photo of none other than CM Punk on Instagram, kickstarting wild speculations of the Cult of Personality making his way back to the WWE. Punk has Paul Newman from the movie Slapshot as his profile picture that was reposted by a cryptic John Cena.
If we go back in time not too long ago, Cena posted a photo of AJ Styles days before the Phenomenal one made his surprise WWE debut at Royal Rumble; which further leave the fans in a state of limbo when it comes to buying into Cena’s Punk teaser.
With Punk’s first UFC opponent already announced, a majority of the fan base would dismiss this as another unlikely happening, but if being a pro wrestling fan, you can never predict the shockers that the WWE is accustomed to throwing at us from time to time.
John Cena’s Instagram bio reads like this: “Welcome to my Instagram. These images will be posted without explanation, for your interpretation. Enjoy.” Here is the Instagram post from Cena that has naturally given rise to a wide range of speculations:
