Okay, so I am a healthy, heterosexual female. Even though us women watch pro wrestling for what it is, I can’t sit there and be in denial that I don’t have a wandering eye now and again (Ok, it’s a lot). For us, it’s one thing when they’re out there in their gear. But let them put on a suit, and we literally lose it. So this topic is completely up my alley despite the subject at hand.
So whether it’s the Hall of Fame or a celebrity appearance, many WWE Superstars have to don the suit and tie when they go out to represent WWE. And you know as good as well as I do that many men do not have taste in fashion. Just about every man I know will rather throw something on and be done with it versus putting effort into their wardrobe. With this particular subject, even the top guy has fashion fails. I guess we can’t all be perfect, right?
#5 Hall of Fame 2015
This type of wide stripe on the tuxedo of Cena’s outfit just doesn’t look right. His tux is already grey, so it throws the jacket off. Thankfully his girlfriend Nikki Bella chose something that was cute and complimented her. If anything else, linking arms with Bella is not such a bad thing.
#4 Superstars for Hope
It’s not that the suit is bad; it’s just that the trousers seem to be too big for him. If the pants are too baggy it takes away from being a sharp dressed man. I’m not saying it has to be super tight. Just, it needs to be neat.
#3 Live With Kelly and Michael
I am guessing that Cena was all about the Florida Gators the day he came onto the show. The brown shoes bother me the most, but I don’t think Gator colors goes well with the suit. The colors are loud, and it takes away from his overall appearance.
#2 Trainwreck Premiere
Cena is a busy man, but I think this was a suit he threw on at the last minute. His body is completely invisible underneath it. And then, the suit itself has a loud color similar to the last one I was talking about. It’s a trend going on with him, and it needs to stop. Again, Ms. Bella looked great in contrast to Cena. They are a good looking couple otherwise.
#1 Hall of Fame 2005
Okay, this was in my Cena fangirl days, but even I cringed at this. Who told him that looked good? Who let him step out like this? It is busy all around, and your eyes instantly go to the awkward pattern. I’ll say over the years, he has gotten a little better with his suits. Not all the time, but a lot better than this. I’ll cut him some slack this time, he was young!
