Kurt Angle's final opponent and TNA match revealed

January 31st would be the last time you see Angle in a Impact Wrestling ring

Kurt Angle is on the cusp of hanging up his wrestling boots and would bid adieu to an illustrious time with TNA.

But before doing so, the Olympic gold medallist would be part of the Kurt Angle farewell tour that is already underway as we speak. It has now been revealed by Dixie Carter that Angle’s last TNA opponent would be Bobby Lashley.

This is the tweet that was officially put out by the TNA president:

January 31st would be the last time Kurt Angle would wrestle for TNA and his match with Bobby Lashley – with whom he put on solid matches last year – is sure to be a fitting end to a great TNA career.

Kurt Angle’s TNA farewell has given rise to countless rumors of him being WWE bound. But these rumors may not be all that right, as at the moment, WWE has no plans on getting the former Heavyweight champion back and would wait until he finishes his dates with TNA.

Kurt Angle has said that after his final TNA match, he plans on taking a break for a year and assess his options.
