The WWE King and Queen of the Ring Tournament matches are set to begin on this week's RAW. The winners will likely challenge the world champions from their respective brands at SummerSlam. R-Truth could enter the tournament to get another shot at John Cena at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Truth was recently released from the Stamford-based promotion, only a few days after he wrestled Cena at Saturday Night's Main Event XXXIX. He made his shocking return during the main event of Money in the Bank, where he cost Cena and Logan Paul a potential win over Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.

There is a chance that Truth could enter the King of the Ring Tournament to secure a WWE contract and a world title shot. The former United States Champion could defy all the odds and shockingly earn a championship shot against Cena at SummerSlam.

Fans are firmly in support of R-Truth and want him to have a prominent role on TV. Hence, WWE could book him against John Cena in New Jersey at the first two-night SummerSlam. While this is mere speculation, WWE could indeed have Truth overcome some kind of obstacle to secure a new deal similar to what they did with Heath Slater in 2016.

WWE officially changed R-Truth's name after he returned at MITB and attacked John Cena

WWE left everyone in shock when R-Truth made his return during the main event of MITB to attack John Cena. Last week, it was announced that Truth had been released by the Stamford-based company. Upon his comeback, WWE has officially confirmed that Truth will now go by his real name, Ron Killings.

After potentially seeing endless "We want Truth" chants on RAW and SmackDown, WWE brought back the legend. The company recently dropped new merchandise on its website for Truth under the name Ron Killings. This has seemingly confirmed his moniker change.
