#1 The Miz vs. Apollo Crews

While The Miz is seen feuding with Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown Live, he came up against Apollo Crews at the live event. It was American Alpha and The Hype Bros who beat the team of The Ascension and The Vaudevillains after Jason Jordan and Chad Gable nailed the Grand Amplitude on Simon Gotch before rolling him up for the 3-count.

The weekend saw the return of The Irish Lass Kicker to in-ring action after having missed out on it for the past 2 weeks having suffered an injury just prior to WWE No Mercy. The reigning Champion made Natalya submit to the Disarm-her.

Result: Becky Lynch and Naomi defeat Alexa Bliss, Natalya and Carmella via submission

#4 Kane vs. Bray Wyatt

Kane taking on The Eater of Worlds has become a recurring theme of Live Events off late. The Big Red Machine has got the better of Bray on numerous occasions recently and it was no different last night at the Five Flags Center as Kane reversed a Sister Abigail from Wyatt into a ChokeSlam before pinning him for the win.

Result: Kane defeats Bray Wyatt via pinfall

Kane and Randy Orton have teamed up against Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper in recent weeks, and while The Viper was not present for the Live Event, Harper was and he duly interfered during the course of the match. After the match, Wyatt and Harper double teamed to attack Kane, who was left helpless against the duo.

#5 Tyler Breeze vs. Kalisto

Kalisto returned to in-ring action earlier last week at another live event in Iowa, having spent a long spell on the sidelines due to a back injury. The Luchador recorded the win over Tyler Breeze after nailing his finisher – Salida Del Sol.

#7 Jack Swagger vs. Baron Corbin

The duo have been feuding on SmackDown Live ever since Swagger’s switch to the blue brand from Raw and it was no different at the Five Flags Center in Dubuque with the Lone Wolf getting the better of Swagger on the night. During the match, Swagger received some positive reaction from the crowd and they even chanted – “We the people”.

#8 WWE World Championship: AJ Styles (c) vs. Dean Ambrose

AJ Styles has been seen feuding with James Ellsworth on SmackDown Live for the last two weeks with the man behind the catchphrase ‘Any man with two hands has a fighting chance’ winning on both occasions with help from Dean Ambrose. However, The Phenomenal One is set to take on the Lunatic Fringe on SmackDown with a title shot on the line – should the former SHIELD member record a win over the reigning champion.

The two, however, clashed at the live event with the World Championship on the line. Styles did not look interested in the match and started to walk away with the title but was stopped by the Lunatic Fringe, which prompted the referee to take the belt off him.

The Phenomenal One was in no mood for tantrums and removed the padding from a turnbuckle before shoving Ambrose into it. He then rolled up the Lunatic Fringe fro the 3-count but instead of leaving cut a promo. He announced on the mic that “He is the face that runs the place” before ripping on the crowd for the boos.

Styles also tore apart a kids sign on ringside, which incited the crowd and boos rang around the Arena. By this time, Ambrose had recovered and hit Styles with the Dirty Deeds to send the crowd into delirium.

Result: AJ Styles defeats Dean Ambrose via pinfall to retain the WWE World Championship
