#3 Apollo Crews vs Mike Kanellis
Despite being inactive inside the ring, Mike Kanellis was in desperate need of singles or tag team match and the former ‘Miracle’ finally had the opportunity to showcase his talents last night in Anaheim, in his one-on-one showdown against Apollo Crews.
However, much to everyone’s surprise, Crews made easy work of Kanellis and defeated him within one minute in what turned out to be a fairly disappointing outing for the latter.
Result: Apollo Crews defeated Mike Kanellis
#4 Kevin Owens, Elias, and Baron Corbin vs Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, and Bobby Roode
The second six-man tag team match of the evening and some of the biggest names were lined-up for this one. Elias initially started off things in typical Elias fashion, when he worked the WWE Universe in Anaheim to a frenzy before Kevin Owens joined in on the party to get some more heel heat on himself and on Elias as well.
The match started off in a slow pace, but business eventually picked up when ‘The Monster Among Men’ Braun Strowman came in after the hot tag and a huge ovation and eventually got the win for his side by pinning KO.
Result: Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, and Bobby Roode defeated Kevin Owens, Elias, and Baron Corbin
#5 Cedric Alexander vs Kalisto
The first and only Cruiserweight match of the evening featured CW Champion Cedric Alexander, who went toe-to-toe with the high-flying luchador Kalisto.
In the starting stages of the match, Alexander accidentally ripped off Kalisto’s mask, who was subsequently assisted by the referee as the match finally started to pick up pace and for the next seven-eight minutes, both men put up an athletic performance with the crowd equally reacting to all the big spots in the match as well.
Despite Kalisto’s valiant effort, Alexander came out on top and the two men eventually paid respect to each other after the match.
Result: Cedric Alexander defeated Kalisto
