WWE Live Event results from Santiago, Chile(10/6)

WWE returned to Chile after 5 years

WWE came to ‘The City of the Island Hills’ for the first time in five years, and it was clearly a unique experience for the superstars, many of whom were visiting South America for the first time. Here are the results from the live event:

-WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day, retained over Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and Enzo Amore & Big Cass. A reportedly sloppy match but Enzo and Cass were really over.-Sin Cara defeated Luke Harper.

-Darren Young and Sami Zayn defeated Bo Dallas and Titus O'Neil. Sami received one of the biggest pops of the night.

-RAW Women's Champion Sasha Banks, Alicia Fox and Bayley defeated Nia Jax, Dana Brooke and Charlotte after Charlotte tapped to the Bank Statement.

-WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns retained over Rusev. Lana tried heel tactics to gain heat, but she was over, even more so than Rusev and Reigns but Reigns more than Rusev. Lots of boos for Reigns to start but he won some over towards the end.

-Braun Strowman defeated Neville in a squash match that lasted approximately 3 minutes or so.

-Cesaro, Sheamus, Goldust and R-Truth defeated Curtis Axel, Jinder Mahal, Primo, and Epico. Pop of the night goes to Cesaro. Axel and Goldust also had a strong following, with Axel getting “Axelmania” chants.

-WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens retained although Seth Rollins won by DQ in the main event. Very good match. Supposedly the best of the night. A very good reaction for Owens but Rollins was the star of the crowd. Owens blocked a Pedigree and hit a low blow for the DQ. Owens announced himself the winner and got booed but Rollins hit a Pedigree to end their confrontation. Rollins said some words on the mic and posed with the Chilean flag to end what was said to be a phenomenal show.Karl Anderson had nothing but praise for the Chilean crowd

The event was overshadowed by the riot incident that happened in a mall where Rollins was supposed to have an autograph signing session. His cap was stolen, and the store where he was supposed to sign was looted. However, that does not reflect on all the 15,000 passionate WWE fans who came out to see the stars they see on TV every week.
