Roman Reigns defeated Braun Strowman in the main event of the Live Event in Regina

WWE fans in Regina, Saskatchewan had a huge last man standing match to look forward to between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman ahead of their steel cage match on the October 16th Monday Night Raw. But that wasn't all that was on the card, the Regina crowd were treated to Cruiserweight title match action, an incredible tag-team title triple threat match and The Miz vs Jason Jordan.

First of all, let's address those live event attendance rumours. Here's a fan picture of the crowd looking pretty packed for a company that's 'struggling to fill its house shows'.

#1 Kallisto (c) vs Enzo Amore - Cruiserweight Title match

Kalisto and Enzo Amore are set to do battle at TLC for the Cruiserweight title, but the Regina show opened with a premature title match between the two 205 Live stars. The WWE tweeted out this little teaser (including an unmasked Kalisto) to hype up the match.

Enzo came out and cut a promo for the Regina crowd, mentioning former Cruiserweight champion Neville for the first time since the Englishman's reported departure from the company. Here's what he said whilst shooting on Kalisto.

"I took care of Cass, and made Neville quit, you're nothing"

Enzo's words were left empty though as the luchador retained his title against the realest guy in the room.

Result: Kalisto retained against Enzo Amore

#2 Goldust and Darren Young vs Curt Hawkins and Curtis Axel

Up next was an unorthodox tag-team match in every sense of the word, we had the odd pairing of Darren Young and Goldust, and we had the odd pairing of Curt Hawkins and Curtis Axel.

Hawkins looked to end his unbeaten streak with the help of one half of the Miztourage. But alas, it wasn't to be, in Regina.

Result: Goldust and Darren Young def. Curtis Axel and Curt Hawkins

#3 Elias Vs R-Truth

Elias came to sing a song for the Regina crowd, complete with spotlight and guitar as usual. The singing star also found a sign in the crowd that said 'Elias should be universal champion' which he took and paraded around the ring with.

However, R-Truth must have taken exception because he came out to interrupt Elias' performance, leading to a match between the two. Elias would go on to take the victory in the third match of the night. What's up with that?

Result: Elias def. R-Truth

#4 Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins (c) vs The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) vs Heath Slater and Rhyno - Tag Team Championship match

The two members of the Shield faced stiff competition against the Bar, who entered the house show in awesome ring gear, and Slater and Rhyno, but managed to retain their tag-team titles against both teams

Result: Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose retained against The Bar and Heath Slater and Rhyno

#5 Sasha Banks and Dana Brooke vs Alexa Bliss and Alicia Fox with Emma as special guest referee

With Emma as a special guest referee, I expected shenanigans, but there weren't really any. The finish came when Alicia Fox took the pin, protecting Raw Woman's champ Alexa Bliss.

Result: Sasha Banks and Dana Brooke def Alexa Bliss and Alicia Fox

How about the tag-team of Sasha Banks and Dana Brooke though, has Banks turned heel? has Brooke turned face? Either way, if the WWE do bring in a woman's tag-team title, these two could be strong contenders.

#6 The Miz (c) vs Jason Jordan - Intercontinental Title match

Jason Jordan and the Miz looked ready and raring to go in this match. Just look at Jordan's entrance.

Jordan may be on the cusp of greatness but he wasn't quite there at Regina as the Miz managed to retain his title against Kurt Angle's son. But there's one thing that Jason Jordan can take away from the event.

Result: The Miz retained against Jason Jordan

#7. Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman - Last Man Standing Match

The Regina crowd had a huge main event to close the show, Roman Reigns vs the 'Monster Among Men' Braun Strowman in a last man standing match and from the reactions of the crowd it didn't disappoint.

At one point Roman Reigns sent the big man through a table but Strowman was still able to answer the ten count.

Roman Reigns was still able to pick up the win though and prove that no matter where in the world the WWE is, it's still his yard.

Result: Roman Reigns def Braun Strowman
