#2. Finn Balor (c) vs Elias - Intercontinental Championship

Both new SmackDown superstars Finn Balor and Elias went at it at Liverpool, with Balor putting his Intercontinental title on the line. Elias did challenge for the title last year, but was unsuccessful in doing so.

He got a lot of heat before the match began as he wore a Manchester City jersey. Balor was over as he always is in the United Kingdom. The Intercontinental Champion ended up retaining the title.

#1. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley & Drew McIntyre

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins had an honourary Shield member in Braun Strowman. Despite all the differences, the team got along smooth and took on the not-so-exciting trio of Corbin, McIntyre and Lashley.

It was a solid main event, with the babyfaces picking up the big win to send the crowd home happy.
