The WWE put forth a SmackDown-branded live event in Springfield, MO, with WWE Champion AJ Styles defending his title in a Handicap Match.

The event saw considerable fan-interaction with Styles staying back for a significant amount of time after his main event matchup. Additionally, The Usos not only defended their Tag Team titles, but also put on a musical performance of their own.

So, without further ado, here are the complete results for SmackDown’s house show in Springfield, Missouri—


#1 Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Baron Corbin

Bobby Roode received a huge pop from the crowd in attendance and proceeded to dominate the majority of this Triple Threat US title matchup.

Apparently, Jinder Mahal received a ton of heat at the event, while the crowd largely ignored Baron Corbin. Roode successfully defended his US title; besting Mahal and Corbin in the end.

#2 Becky Lynch & Naomi vs. The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott & Sarah Logan with/Liv Morgan)

Becky Lynch & Naomi competed against Ruby Riott & Sarah Logan of The Riott Squad; with Liv Morgan cheering on Riott & Logan from ringside.

Lynch & Naomi assumed control early on and got the better of their foes over long stretches of the matchup. In the end, Lynch picked up the victory for her team with the Dis-Arm-Her over Logan. The fans in attendance were firmly in support of Lynch & Naomi, with the Irish Lass Kicker receiving the biggest pop among the ladies.

#3 Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Rusev & Aiden English

Rusev Day chants echoed throughout the arena, as Rusev attempted to pull off Shinsuke Nakamura’s entrance maneuver—that being the Artist’s signature ring rope squat.

Nevertheless, the Bulgarian Brute seemed to have trouble going all the way with the pose. In the end, Randy Orton hit Aiden English with an RKO Outta’ Nowhere for the victory. Following the match, Orton & Nakamura interacted with the fans all over the arena—signing autographs and posing for photos with several fans.

#4 Zack Ryder vs. Mike Kanellis

Zack Ryder and Mike Kanellis competed in a matchup that saw the crowd chime in with a few taunts on the latter.

Certain fans at the event taunted Kanellis about his wife Maria Kanellis being a better wrestler than he is, while a few others referenced his TNA (Impact Wrestling) tenure. In the end, Ryder bested Kanellis with a Rough Ryder finisher.

#5 Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya vs. Lana vs. Carmella

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair defended her title in a Fatal 4-Way Match against Natalya, Lana & Carmella.

Flair dominated the matchup, as Lana and Carmella’s ring-time seemed relatively limited in this showdown. Most of the exchanges transpired between Flair and Natalya. In the end, Flair caught Natalya in Figure Eight; making ‘Nattie’ tap out.

#6 The Usos vs. The New Day vs. Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defended their titles against The New Day (Big E & Xavier Woods) and Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin.

The Usos put on a dominant showing in the matchup, as Big E & Xavier Woods controlled the initial part of the showdown. Nevertheless, with The Usos regaining control midway, Jimmy Uso brought an end to this action-packed matchup, hitting Chad Gable with 5 Superkicks—ending the showdown via pinfall.

The Usos successfully defended their SmackDown Tag Team titles and proceeded to sing and interact with the fans ringside.

#7 AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens

WWE Champion AJ Styles defended her title against Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens in a Handicap Match.

Styles seemed to be in trouble early on, as Zayn & Owens used the numbers’ advantage right off the bat. Regardless, Styles weathered the storm, before Zayn accidentally hit Owens with a Helluva Kick.

Styles took advantage of the same and tagged Zayn with a Phenomenal Forearm for the pinfall victory.
