With the Smackdown Live crew being busy promoting their Clash of the Champions pay-per-view last night with a show in Portland, Maine, the Raw roster were also back on the road yesterday as they landed in Syracuse, New York for yet another live event.

The WWE Universe in Syracuse were treated to a solid match card which featured the likes of Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Sasha Banks, Asuka and more. However, it was noted that Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns was one big casualty from last night's card in NY.


#1 Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt resumed their unfinished rivalry in Syracuse last night, as the two men engaged in a war.

Both Balor and Wyatt put up a solid performance and "The Demon King" was also hugely over with the crowd. The former Universal Champion then managed to score a big win via the Coupe de Grace as he overcame the wrath of "The Eater of Worlds", that is, Bray Wyatt.

Result: Finn Balor def. Bray Wyatt


#2 Enzo Amore vs Kalisto (WWE Cruiserweight Championship)

Last night in Syracuse "The Certified G" went toe-to-toe with his current biggest rival in the Cruiserweight division, Kalisto, with the masked luchador getting another opportunity to dethrone Amore as the Cruiserweight Champion.

However, Enzo managed to pick up the win on the night via his crazy shenanigans and retained the Cruiserweight Title.

Result: Enzo Amore def. Kalisto to retain the Cruiserweight Championship

#3 Asuka vs. Dana Brooke

The third match on the card featured the undefeated Asuka against Dana Brooke and as expected, Brooke did not last long against "The Empress of Tomorrow". The former NXT Women's Champion locked in The Asuka Lock for a win via submission.

Result: Asuka def. Dana Brooke via submission


#4 Rhyno, Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil & Apollo Crews vs. Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Curt Hawkins and Goldust

The next match on the card was a 8-man tag team match featuring a babyface team of Rhyno and Heath Slater who teamed up with the Titus Worldwide and faced off against The Miztourage, Curt Hawkins and Goldust.

This match was a very fun match as the face team of Rhyno and co. picked up the win, after Rhyno pinned Curt Hawkins on the night, whose streak of losses increased to 144 following this defeat.

Result: Rhyno, Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil & Apollo Crews defeated Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Curt Hawkins and Goldust

#5 Braun Strowman vs. Samoa Joe

Both Joe and Strowman got amazing reactions from the Syracuse crowd last night. The "Joe" chants were also very strong and the building absolutely erupted when Braun's music hit.

"The Monster Among Men" played the babyface role almost with perfection as the two men absolutely brawled with each other, however, in the end, it was Strowman who got the victory following a Running Powerslam.

Result: Braun Strowman def. Samoa Joe


#6 Bayley and Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax and Alicia Fox with Mickie James as the special guest referee

Both Bayley and Sasha got great reactions from the crowd on the night and the match itself was really fun. The babyface team of Banks and Bayley went over and picked up the win.

Result: Sasha Banks and Bayley def. Nia Jax and Alicia Fox

#7 Jason Jordan vs. Elias

Next up the Syracuse crowd was treated to an amazing song by Elias, who was shortly after interrupted by Jason Jordan, who himself was on the receiving end of boos from the New York crowd.

The two men put up a decent enough match, that saw Jordan pick up the win over Elias.

Result: Jason Jordan def. Elias


#8 Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus and Cesaro (Raw Tag Team Championship)

A tag team match between The Shield and The Bar is always a guaranteed solid tag team contest and last night was also no different. Seth Rollins was by far the most over superstar in this match, as the place erupted when Rollins recieved a hot tag from Dean Ambrose.

The two teams went back and forth and gave it all and it was equally enjoyed by the WWE Universe. The Shield eventually picked up the win via disqualification as The Bar retained their titles.

Result: Shield def. The Bar via disqualification
