WWE Monday Night Raw: May 25, 2015- 5 things that did not work

Beyond her glory days

Honestly, this segment steals the award for being the worst segment in the show. WWE screws up the logic again. Why bring Paige back into the fold and then get her beaten up by wannabe heels Naomi and Tamina.

The WWE is doing its best to revive the division and the Tamina – Naomi pair is not the best go-to option. The entire division has become redundant and the fans seem least interested by the proceedings

Tag team handicap bout

Hope this one lives up to its expectations

New Day felt that they are being cornered and hence appealed for fairness. Kane came out and restored their faith as they were put in a 3 on 10 handicap match against their elimination chamber opponents. First and foremost, this was another attempt to make each team look strong before the PPV. Secondly, when it’s a 10 on 3 match, you expect chaos and that is what prevailed. Halfway theough the bout, all hell broke loose and the New day won owing to a DQ.

Better fixtures would have solidified their stance rather than a meaningless match where nothing logical happened.

Owens attacks Cena

Second time lucky

John Cena is a demi-god in the WWE. He would pretty much make every superstar go the distance with the vast experience he has. The WWE uses Cena’s status to their advantage and pits him up with rookies to elevate their status. Once in a while, they outwit Cena no doubt. But, two weeks in a row would make you wonder otherwise.

Cena faced Ryder in the U.S title match up on RAW. The match was indeed one of the highlights of the night. But what prevailed is the interesting part. Kevin Owens came down the ring and attacked Cena again. Knowing the type of guy Cena is, it was indeed retalliation time. But that was not be as the WWE made Owens look stronger. Why, you never know. But when it comes to Pay per views, Cena will get the home run.
