Fun in Midcard
The mid card matches from Monday Night Raw impressed at SummerSlam. Cesaro and Sheamus opened up their best of seven series with a solid match and WWE could book the second match this week on Raw and people aren’t going to complain about it. Elsewhere, the rise of Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens as a tag team was another notable part from SummerSlam.
They have the capability of being Tag team champions down the lane but there’s a catch at the same time. New Day retained their Tag team titles on Sunday, but it was through DQ and it goes to show that they have some unfinished business with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. The pairing up of Sami Zayn and Neville also seemed interesting and all the future of all four of these angles will be made clear on Raw.
