The expectations are high from the WWE Championship match
Bobby Lashley will put his WWE Championship on the line against Kofi Kingston at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Both superstars have been involved in a heated feud over the last few weeks. The New Day member even convinced Lashley that he is no longer focused on his title. Surprisingly, he agreed after Xavier Woods pinned him and decided to channel his inner beast.

The feud between Lashley and Kingston has been entertaining so far. They both know how to get under the other’s skin. This rivalry also saw Kofi Kingston coming back in the world title picture – a conversation that should have never ended in the first place.
Although he has been nothing short of flawless as a challenger, the creative team might not be inclined towards taking the WWE Championship off Lashley.

They need dominant champions on the Red brand who are involved in good feuds. Lashley is expected to keep the title until SummerSlam, where he could face a returning superstar.
If The All Mighty and Kingston continue their feud on WWE RAW, they should be given a little more creative freedom over their promos. This storyline has great potential, and the writers should make the most of this opportunity.
Prediction: Bobby Lashley retains his WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston
