There have been conflicting reports on the status of Alexa Bliss heading into Money In The Bank, with PW Insider saying she has suffered another concussion and the Wrestling Observer suggesting that she has only been removed from the ladder match as a precautionary measure because WWE does not want to risk her potentially sustaining a serious injury in such a dangerous match type.

We now know that Nikki Cross will take her place in the Money In The Bank match, but does that mean we should completely rule out the five-time women’s champion getting involved in the action at some point?

Given that she has not been medically cleared to compete by WWE, do not expect Bliss to take any bumps or ladder shots on Sunday. However, regardless of her current status, we would be foolish to rule out her potential involvement in the latter stages of the match.

Cross has taken Bliss' spot on the roster in two successive matches now, so the villainous “One True Goddess” might look to steal the spotlight back from her unlikely new ally by pushing her off the ladder.
