WWE Money in the Bank 2019 Opinion: Why Dolph Ziggler must interfere in the Shane McMahon vs The Miz match

The Miz and The Best in the World, Shane McMahon, will collide in a WrestleMania 35 rematch this Sunday at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in what seems to be the final chapter of this rivalry. With the stipulation of a steel cage added to this bout, the WWE has tried to ensure the fans that this will indeed be the last match between the two individuals.

However, WWE should not forget that their next pay-per-view, WWE Super Showdown, will take place inside the next 3 weeks. This means that they will not have the proper time to build up their marquee matches on the card. The company has announced three random matches for the event which are as follows:

  1. The Undertaker vs Goldberg
  2. Randy Orton vs Triple H
  3. 50-man battle royal

There was also a local advertisement which hinted at some of the matches that can be added to this match card.

The Miz has been featured in the 50-man battle royal poster, a decision which may result in the A-Lister losing out on his newly found babyface momentum. To avoid that WWE should book the Miz in a major match at the event.

WWE Creative should not end the Shane McMahon-Miz feud at Money In The Bank, but they should add a new dimension to the feud by involving Dolph Ziggler in the mix. The reason why I picked Ziggler here is that he was the runner-up of the World Cup tournament conducted in Saudi Arabia last year.

The decision to crown Shane as the World Cup winner angered the fans, and WWE can correct their mistake by having a triple threat finale between McMahon, Miz and Ziggler for the trophy.

It would always be better if the babyface Miz wins the World Cup trophy rather than just winning a 'Steel Cage' match. WWE can setup the triple threat only by having Ziggler interfere in the cage match and cost Shane the match, because Shane was the one who stole the World Cup trophy from him.

This rivalry will interest the WWE Universe as well and give more relevance to the WWE World Cup trophy. Thus, it will be a good move if WWE brings back Ziggler at Money In The Bank.
