What’s the story?
While CM Punk has completely disassociated himself from the WWE and his former colleagues – his better half – AJ Lee is still quite connected to the pro wrestling world and the friends she made during her solid career.
Current WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bayley posted a photo with the former Divas Champion, with her dog reaping all the benefits of being an adorable little being:

AJ Lee recently released her first book titled “Crazy Is My Superpower: How I Triumphed by Breaking Bones, Breaking Hearts, and Breaking the Rules”, and has been on a promotional spree for the same. She has been involved in many interviews off late, speaking about her time in the WWE and her childhood among other things. Thus, it’s refreshing to see her take some time off and catch up with the Huggable One.

The heart of the matter
Lee’s gruelling schedule to promote her book must have surely drained out the former champion and it’s great to see her unwind with her friends from the WWE. The photo has most likely been taken at Bayley’s home and we wonder if CM Punk would have been there too. Maybe it was just a night exclusively for the ladies or he could have been the man who clicked the photo.
Nevertheless, a fun picture for all the fans out there.
What’s next?
Lee’s book debuted at the 10th spot in the Ney York Best Sellers ranking and things will only get better from here for her. As for Bayley, the recent Superstar Shake-up has completely transformed the Women’s division on Raw.
Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks have their eyes set on capturing Bayley’s strap and it will be interesting to see how WWE books the crowded title scene devoid of Charlotte (who moved to SmackDown) at the upcoming PPV, Payback.
Author’s take
Bayley and AJ Lee are arguably two of the most over female stars of their respective generations and I can only hope AJ returns in the near future to take on the impressive crop of female talent at disposal in the new era. Bayley vs. Lee right now would make for a great feud, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg and calls for another article someday.
For now, all we can do is marvel at the picture and feel jealous of Bayley’s dog.
