WWE Champion AJ Styles has taken to his official Twitter handle in order to weigh in his thoughts on the massive announcement made by SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon regarding this year’s Fastlane main event.

In case you didn’t know…

As noted on this week’s episode of Smackdown Live, WWE had announced that former US Champion Dolph Ziggler will be returning to action on next week’s edition of Smackdown Live to compete in a one-on-one match against 'The Lone Wolf' Baron Corbin.

Additionally, as confirmed by GM Daniel Bryan this week on SmackDown, WWE Champion AJ Styles will be defending his title against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at the upcoming Fastlane pay-per-view in a Triple Threat Match, however, that match will now be changed to a Fatal Four as announced by Shane McMahon.

The heart of the matter

Earlier today, SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon confirmed on Twitter that the winner of the upcoming match between Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin on next week’s SmackDown Live will be added to this year’s Fastlane main-event and will get a shot at AJ Styles’ WWE Title.

Following the massive announcement, AJ Styles decided to respond to Shane’s huge Ziggler vs Corbin stipulation, as 'The Phenomenal One' claimed that at this year's Fastlane PPV, he is going to knock down all of his challengers. You can also read AJ Styles’ tweet below:

What’s next?

This year’s Fastlane pay-per-view will take place on the 11th of March at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio and the show will be main-evented by AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Dolph Ziggler or Baron Corbin.
