Fans who watched Wrestle Kingdom 10 still praise AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura for the 24-minute classic for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.

Now, two years later, fans will get to witness that rematch in a WWE ring as Styles and Nakamura clash for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 34.

Nakamura became the No.1 contender for the WWE Championship back in January, but Styles' Road to WrestleMania didn't become clear until tonight when he defeated Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, John Cena, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to retain the title.

This is marks the second world title match confirmed for WrestleMania and is widely considered to be the most anticipated match on the card thus far.

After their fantastic match two years ago, both Styles and Nakamura would debut in WWE and go on to have a massive impact on both the main roster and NXT.

Nakamura became one of two men to hold the NXT Championship twice while Styles defeated John Cena and Dean Ambrose in his quest to become WWE Champion.

A year later and fans would see their dream rematch draw closer with Nakamura being drafted from NXT to SmackDown Live in 2017.

Neither man seemed as if they were on a collision course at the time, but the company began to plant the seeds for this big world championship match as far back as November.

The Phenomenal One recaptured the WWE Championship and became the first-man to win the title outside of North America when he defeated Jinder Mahal.

The King of Strong Style would go on to win the 2018 Men's Royal Rumble match and became the first Japanese superstar to challenge for the world title at the Grandest Stage of Them All - an opportunity WWE would not waste as Nakamura immediately announced his plans to face his former NJPW opponent after his Rumble victory.

Styles and Nakamura find themselves in opposing position from their encounter at Wrestle Kingdom 10, but the match their expected to deliver will have to match or surpass their bout at the Tokyo Dome.
