An amazing new trailer of an upcoming TV movie Tour de Pharmacy starring John Cena has been released by HBO.
Cena stars in the upcoming sports-doping mockumentary i.e., a parody of a sports doping scandal that reportedly revolves around the sport of professional biking.
In case you didn’t know...
John Cena is no stranger to movies, having appeared in multiple Hollywood presentations in the past, including his recently released thriller-drama The Wall.
The 40-year old will appear in a prominent role in the aforementioned parody film Tour de Pharmacy that was created by Andy Samberg and Murray Miller.
The heart of the matter
John Cena appears in the new trailer as a professional cyclist and is reportedly portraying a significant role in the film. The trailer also features disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong, who was at the forefront of the doping scandal that exposed PED (Performance Enhancing Drug) usage in the sport of professional biking/cycling a few years back. Fans can watch the trailer below:
Tour de Pharmacy stars Andy Samberg, Daveed Diggs, Will Forte, Julia Ormond, John Cena, Phylicia Rashad, Dolph Lundgreen, Orlando Bloom, heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson, JJ Abrams, Kevin Bacon, Jeff Goldblum, Chris Webber and Maya Rudolph.

Tour de Pharmacy will premiere on July 8th at 10 PM E.T., and is directed by Jake Szymanski and distributed by HBO Films.

The Leader of the Cenation is on a roll, folks! Granted that his Hollywood career may not have seen him soar to the heights of Tinseltown like say Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson or even Dave Bautista, but Cena is without a doubt making an impact in the movie industry.
The parody movie he’s starring him will see him play an athlete who uses steroids- something that he has quite ironically, been accused of by fans as well as many of his contemporaries for using pretty much throughout his career. Well, like the millennial saying goes- Haters gonna hate! Looking forward to watch your movie, Champ!
