What's the story?

This week's Raw had some major takeaways. While Roman Reigns hogged all the news, the Raw Women's title feud that has been the talk of the town too progressed courtesy of a few much-needed twists.

Ronda Rousey 'dropped' the Raw women's titile in the ring and walked away after Stephanie McMahon refused to add Becky Lynch to the WrestleMania title match.

Rousey finally revealed the reason behind her actions and said that she doesn't need the WWE at all.

In case you didn't know...

There may still be a few days away for the next Raw episode but the build up for the hottest feud on WWE TV has not stopped one bit. Rousey and Lynch were engaged in a non-PG back-and-forth on Twitter that added another dimension to the ongoing angle.

The WWE management was said to be a little unhappy with the language used but the exchange was entertaining nonetheless and only added to the storyline.

The heart of the matter

Rowdy revealed on her vlog on Youtube that rationale behind her decisions on Raw. She said that she loves her WWE job but she doesn't need it. She claimed to have the right to walk away and live a happy life with her husband the day she starts feeling unhappy.

She went on to trash the Authority by saying, "The Authority as they are called in this company are used to bullying everyone around and like I said they give them just enough to give them like to live a lavish lifestyle, but still have to come back and I don’t."

There have been reports of the former UFC Champion possibly taking a hiatus from the WWE after WrestleMania 35 and her latest statements only add fuel to fire.

What's next?

This should all play into the storyline that's unfolding on TV. The upcoming episode of Raw is expected to have Rousey, Lynch, and Charlotte making their respective cases on the road to WrestleMania 35.

Even though it's part of the entire angle, it's interesting to see Rousey already teasing a potential exit from the company. WWE has been blurring the lines in this feud which was evident on Twitter. Rowdy's comments could also mean that she does indeed walk from the company after the show of shows. If that is the case, WWE ought to make the WrestleMania title feud count.
