What's the story?

Asuka took to Twitter to comment on the opponent she will face on her main roster debut at WWE TLC. Emma won the Fatal 5-way match for the right to face Asuka on this week's edition of Raw after defeating Sasha Banks, Bayley, Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke.

In case you didn't know...

In her debut on NXT, Asuka was confronted by Emma and Dana Brooke. She had a feud with both of them, and this resulted in her eventually facing Emma at NXT TakeOver: London after she had defeated Brooke.

She emerged victorious in that feud and went on to feud with Bayley to win her NXT Women's Championship.

The heart of the matter

Asuka went on Twitter to express her pleasure of facing Emma upon her debut and warned the Raw star to be ready for her.

Asuka's debut match on the main roster will be with the same woman who confronted her when she debuted on NXT.

Emma replied back and said that it would be her who will end Asuka's streak, at TLC. She claimed that it was only because of her that Asuka was so successful.

Asuka is currently the holder of the record for the longest reigning women's champion after she passed the previous record set by Rockin' Robin's 502-day championship reign. She is also the record holder for the longest winning streak, surpassing Goldberg.

What's next?

Asuka is set to take on Emma when she debuts at WWE TLC in two weeks time.

Author's take

WWE has not always managed to book NXT talent well when they debut on the main roster, with several stars being underbooked. Asuka was one of the most dominant women on NXT for a long time, and her debut match on the main roster has received a lot of hype.

There is a small chance the Emma may pull off an upset victory, but at this point, it seems unlikely.
