After being attacked by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn before he could make it to the ring for his match with Dolph Ziggler to kick off SmackDown Live, Baron Corbin was given the chance of retribution in the form of a match with Kevin Owens.

If The Lone Wolf would win, he'd be added to the WWE Championship Match at Fastlane where AJ Styles is scheduled to defend his title against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Well, Baron Corbin did just that - and took to social media immediately after his win.

One wrong move ruined his entire WWE career - Watch Now!

In case you didn't know...

Baron Corbin was left off of SmackDown last week in Kansas City, it was noted that The Lone Wolf received "the biggest pop of the night" when he appeared in a dark segment to team up with Jinder Mahal against AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.

It had been reported that Corbin would be loved by the Kansas City crowd due to both his football and amateur boxing background, and WWE decided he was best left off of TV for that reason.

Baron Corbin instead was added to a match for tonight's SmackDown Live against Dolph Ziggler to be added to the main event of Fastlane, but after Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn attacked both men, they both would get a chance against Owens and Zayn respectively.

The heart of the matter

Well, after winning his match against Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin took to Twitter to cut a promo on Owens and Zayn, and promise that he would deliver the End of Days to every man in his path to become WWE Champion on the road to WrestleMania.

What's next?

Well, Fastlane takes place on March 11th, so we still have a few more episodes of SmackDown Live before then. We can probably expect to see Baron Corbin on the blue brand next week.

Author's take

Well, this was an interesting choice. Many thought Corbin's push was gone after unsuccessfully cashing in his Money In The Bank contract, but after a decent stint as United States Champion, things are looking up for Corbin.

It'll be very interesting to see how he does in the main event!

These WWE moments were totally off-script - Check now!
