WWE News: Baron Corbin's hilarious reaction to being Kurt Angle's WrestleMania opponent

What's the story?

Kurt Angle officially announced that Baron Corbin will be his final WrestleMania opponent. There's been quite an uproar on social media about it, with fans naturally being underwhelmed by the announcement.

Baron Corbin had quite a funny response to all the outrage.

In case you didn't know...

Kurt Angle and Baron Corbin faced off right after the Royal Rumble, which Corbin ended up winning in rather quick fashion. It's admittedly been a bit of a disappointing retirement tour for Angle, who hasn't faced all the best opponents that he could have.

However, Angle faced Apollo Crews in his hometown of Pittsburgh, beating him. On the latest episode of RAW, Angle would face and beat Chad Gable in what was once dubbed as a dream match. For some weird reason, WWE felt it would be a better decision to give Gable the match on free TV while Corbin gets it on PPV.

Either way, all uproar aside, nothing can be done about it. One thing is for sure - it's not going to be a banger of a retirement match. Meanwhile, Corbin ended up losing to Apollo Crews on RAW.

WWE seem to be making a storyline out of fans not wanting the Corbin match.

The heart of the matter

Baron Corbin being Baron Corbin, had no regard or respect for the fans' outrage. In fact, he only fuelled the fire, saying:

Baron Corbin most certainly loves to enjoy the misery of fans. Either way, it's going to be interesting to see how the storyline plays out. If they actually do go with the story where fans want a different opponent, then it's very possible that he could have a great retirement match.

Roman Reigns was reportedly supposed to face Corbin at the event.
