What's the story?

Ric Flair has been recovering well since his time in the hospital and has been visited by many friends and well-wishers. Basketball Legend, Sir Charles Barkley was one of his esteemed guests.

In case you didn't know.....

Ric Flair was seriously ill prior to Summerslam this year, and his condition was so serious that it had everyone extremely worried.

He received the good wishes of most of the people of the Wrestling Community as well as his close friends and family.

Charlotte took time off from her WWE schedule to be with him, and he had to be put into a medical coma after an obstructive piece of his bowel was removed. He suffered for a long time, even going on dialysis, but being the immortal Ric Flair he recovered.

The heart of the matter

While not fit enough to be on the Road to Wrestlemania, Ric Flair has been on the road to recovery for quite some time now, with every day bringing more positive news on the Nature Boy's health.

He has received a number of visitors including Hulk Hogan and his daughter, but most recently he was visited by a friend from his days in WCW, the Basketball Legend, and expert commentator, Sir Charles Barkley.

The two met while in WCW, and apparently, the friendship has not faded at all over the years. The Nature Boy tweeted the picture and the thing to take away from it other than how happy Flair looked, is that how much he has recovered.

He looked considerably better than he had immediately after his time at the hospital, and while far from the Nature Boy of old, he still looked in quite good health given what he has gone through.

Author's take

Ric Flair is recovering incredibly fast after the trauma that he has been through, and given his age, he looked quite impressive in the picture.

He still has ways to go before he can start 'Styling and Profiling' in the WWE, but that return may not be far off.
