In case you didn't know...
Bayley is a former NXT Women's Champion and a former one-time WWE Raw Women's Champion. Before she came into the world of wrestling, Bayley was a huge fan of WWE.
Bayley was obsessed with wrestling while growing up and dedicate her energy to becoming a WWE star.
A member of the WWE Four Horsewomen with Becky, Charlotte and Sasha, Bayley is one of the most prominent wrestlers on the main roster as well as a fan favourite.
The heart of the story
During her interview, Bayley revealed that she had been obsessed with the Hardy Boyz and Lita, and had posters of them on the walls of her room. She had gone out of her way to meet WWE Stars in real life at shows and fan-meets. Of the stars she had met, Bayley talked about Bret Hart and Matt Hardy. As a fan, she had been hugged by Matt Hardy once, and could not stop talking about him after that.
Bayley went on to reveal that due to her obsession with Matt, her boyfriend broke up with her. She said that her ex-boyfriend thought she was 'weird' due to her obsession with the older Hardy brother, and he broke up with her.
Bayley is one of the women set to take part in the inaugural Women's Royal Rumble, where she will face a number of other women for a shot at the Women's Championship at Wrestlemania.
Bayley's obsession as a fan is what helped her to become the star that she is today. Her relationship might have ended as a result of the sheer presence of Matt Hardy in her life, but it was for the better as she went on to become a star and one of the most successful women in WWE.
