WWE News: Becky Lynch confirms relationship with fellow WWE Superstar

"Becky 2 Belts" has broken the wrestling internet

What's the story?

There have been numerous social media hints over the last couple of months that Becky Lynch is dating fellow WWE Superstar Seth Rollins.

Now, for the first time, it appears that the Raw and SmackDown Women’s champion has confirmed that the two are indeed in a relationship.

In case you didn't know…

Ever since she betrayed Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2018, Becky Lynch’s WWE career has gone from strength to strength.

"The Man" won the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble before going on to main-event WrestleMania 35, where she defeated Flair and Ronda Rousey in a Triple Threat match to become the first woman to hold both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships at the same time.

Seth Rollins, meanwhile, has had a very similar career trajectory over the last few months, winning the 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble to set up a WrestleMania 35 encounter with Brock Lesnar, who he defeated in the first match of the night to win the Universal Championship.

The heart of the matter

Becky Lynch recently tweeted a picture of herself holding both of her championships above her head during WWE’s European tour.

WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, who was stood next to Lynch in the picture, joked on Twitter that "a silly little detail like being tied for number of title reigns" would not stop them from being friends.

As witty and scathing as ever, Lynch fired back with a picture of Edge – Phoenix’s husband – and referred to his career-ending neck injury by tweeting:

“Yeah, we’re neck and neck alright.”

Phoenix responded with the following tweet:

“Wait wait...are we involving our men now…”

Then, in a few short words that will no doubt break the wrestling internet, Lynch confirmed her relationship with Seth Rollins by replying:

"I’ll ask him..... @WWERollins ?"

What's next?

Becky Lynch will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans and the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view on Sunday, May 19, while Seth Rollins will put his Universal Championship on the line on the same night against AJ Styles.

Now get ready for Lynch and Rollins to answer questions about their relationship in every media interview during the European tour!
