What's the story?
Maria Kanellis recently confirmed on her official Instagram handle that she is pregnant, after the same was mentioned during a storyline on the latest edition of Monday Night Raw.
Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch posted a response to WWE's Twitter announcement on Maria's pregnancy, and stated: "You're welcome."
In case you didn't know...
On this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, real-life couple Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins were interviewed in a backstage area. As the two were hyping up their upcoming Mixed match at Extreme Rules, 205 Live's Maria Kanellis interrupted them.
She went on to insult Lynch and Rollins, introducing her husband Mike Kanellis in the process and laying down a challenge. Lynch and Rollins immediately accepted and the match was on.
During the closing moments of the bout, Maria announced that she is pregnant, which was followed by Lynch making Mike Kanellis tap out via a Dis-Arm-Her. After the match, Maria hurled insults at a dejected Mike, and went on to say that the only man here is "The Man", Becky Lynch.

The heart of the matter
The angle received mixed responses from the WWE Universe, with many bashing the company for burying Kanellis in this manner. Soon after, it was revealed that Maria was actually pregnant.

WWE's official Twitter account posted the story too, which was responded by none other than Becky Lynch. Lynch took a shot at Raw's angle, where Maria referred to her as "the only man here tonight".

It would be interesting where Mike and Maria Kanellis go from here. As for Lynch and Rollins, they are all set to defend their titles against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans at Extreme Rules.
